Sheriff Scott Kent received a check from Mike McBeth, on behalf of the Bucyrus Elk’s Lodge #156. The check was in the amount of $1,000 and will go into the Bucyrus – Crawford D.A.R.E. fund.

These donations are a vital part of the D.A.R.E. program. Donations allow Deputy Chris Martin to purchase classroom materials and have graduations for classes’ kindergarten through eighth grade. Deputy Martin currently teaches D.A.R.E. at the following schools:

  • Colonel Crawford
  • Wynford
  • Buckeye Central
  • St. Bernard School
  • Sacred Heart School
  • Saint Joseph Catholic School in Crestline
  • Crestline Village School
  • Holy Trinity Catholic School in Bucyrus
