The following is a message from Bucyrus Superintendent Kevin Kimmel:
“We have initiated an internal lock down at Bucyrus Elementary School and the Bucyrus Secondary School. Law enforcement officials are on site to ensure the safety and security of all Bucyrus City School District students and staff members. We would ask all families to stay away from the buildings until further notice. We will provide additional details as soon as possible.”
