The Bucyrus Athletic Department is proud to host its annual ‘Most Inspirational Teacher’ nights for the 2017-2018 winter sports season. The first event will be held during the girls’ basketball game against Colonel Crawford Dec. 22, and will include the boys’ and girls’ swimming teams.
The boys’ basketball and wrestling teams, cheerleaders and pep band will recognize teachers during the Redmen home game against Riverdale Dec. 23.
These special evenings are aimed at honoring Bucyrus teachers who have had the biggest impact on the lives of senior athletes.
All honorees will be escorted across the court and publicly acknowledged for their accomplishments.
Athletic and Activities Director Rick Rawson is excited to recognize these teachers for their hard work and dedication to the students.
“They are an inspiration to the students both on and off the field and their sacrifices for the students do not go unnoticed. We really want to make it a special night for the teachers, students and community.”
