MARION – According to the Marion Firefighters Local 379 Facebook page, Marion Fire Ladder 24 and Car 20 are responding mutual aid with Marion Twp to POET Biorefining for a transformer on fire inside the building. Multiple departments are responding from around the county as well due to the extremely hazardous nature of the call.
UPDATE: Units arrived to find an active fire in the building, transitional attack underway with MFD Ladder 24 providing a RIT team. Additional squads requested.
