BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—After serving as Interim Law Director for the City of Bucyrus, Brandon Gobrecht was selected by the Crawford County Republican Central Committee last week to fill the position.
Gobrecht will retain the usually elected position until December 25, 2025, when he will need to make a bid for re-election.
Gobrecht stepped into the position on a contractual basis in September.
Brian Gernert officially resigned from his position as Law Director in early September. However, Gobrecht was appointed to fill in during Gernert’s absence as Interim Law Director on a contractual basis in late August.
