Six year-old Wyatt Fordyce worried about his pint-size colleagues and wanted to do something about it.

According to the Crestline Advocate, one of his favorite toys is a stuffed dog called Scentsy Buddy. Wyatt had an idea. He wanted to donate Scentsy Buddies to the Crestline Police Department knowing that officers in the course of their duties sometimes encounter children who are scared or don’t have any toys.

With the help of his parents Wyatt made a few phone calls to friends and family. Soon he raised $270- enough money to buy 18 Scentsy Buddy toys.

On December 8, he donated all of the toys to the Crestline Police Department.
