BUCYRUS—Kevin Lammie, 29, of Upper Sandusky, appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Thursday for an alleged community control violation.

In November of 2020, Lammie pleaded guilty to drug possession, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. He was sentenced to 36 months in prison but was granted judicial release in March and placed on community control.

According to probation officer Chris Heydinger on June 10th in Wyandot county, Lammie was charged with drug paraphernalia and admitted to using methamphetamines. In May and June, Lammie also tested positive for marijuana.

Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Lammie’s behalf. He appointed attorney Joel Spitzer to represent him. Bond was set at $50,000.00.

Brad Villars, 42, of Bucyrus, pleaded guilty to violating the terms and conditions of his community control after he tested positive for Methamphetamines.

Villars pleaded guilty in May to one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree punishable with up to 12 months in prison. He was placed on five years of community control. Judge Leuthold sentenced Villars to six months in prison.

William Smith, 48, of Galion, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs( heroin), each fifth-degree felonies and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison.

In an agreed plea negotiation, Judge Leuthold sentenced Smith to 8 months in prison on each count for a total of 16 months in prison.

He must forfeit all drug-related property, including cell phones, to the appropriate authorities. Leuthold told Smith he would not oppose transitional control if the prison requested it.
