CRAWFORD COUNTY—Colonel Crawford High School has lost a beloved member of their teaching and coaching family as well a man who made a lasting impression on our entire community.

Lovingly known as “Coach Teg,” Ryan joined the Colonel Crawford family in 2008.
In those years he made a lasting impact on thousands of students. He motivated them to be the best they could be not only on the field but in the classroom. In 2021 after years of success in the classroom and on the field, Coach Teg began to battle pancreatic cancer and, just as Coach had motivated his students to win their own battles, the entire Crawford County Community rallied around Coach “Teg” to win his.
#TEGSTRONG joined the fight. Massive fund raisers and special events resulted. An unprecedented out pouring of love and support in the Colonel Crawford community that included schools from surrounding communities was organized for Coach and his family.
