The Buckeye Central School District’s recently completed Outdoor Learning Lab will be officially opened to the public next Monday. Beginning at 6 o’clock that evening, the public is invited to enjoy an evening stroll through the unique site that began as a junior high science class assignment.

Through hard work of students, staff and volunteers with financial support from grants and businesses in the community, the Learning Lab is an example of how schoolyards can be utilized in education. The Buckeye Central Learning Lab encompasses acres of woodlands and grasslands that provide diverse learning opportunities.

Marianne Williamson will be on hand to answer questions concerning the project.

Those who attend are ask to meet at the Outdoor Learning Lab Pavilion located behind the school.
