The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help from the public in locating the driver of a van-type vehicle involved in a hit-skip injury accident last week. The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 in the afternoon of Nov. 14 on St. Rt. 598 south of the St. Rt. 98 intersection.

A tire fell from the vehicle which struck another vehicle carrying three Pioneer Career and Technology Center students who were treated at Shelby hospital for minor injuries and released. Those students were 18-year-old Patrick Hutchinson who was the driver of the vehicle which was struck, 18-year-old Tesla Runion, and another juvenile female.

The vehicle authorities are looking for is described as a white GMC, 1970s or 1980s model, with a van cab and flat bed. Anyone with knowledge of that vehicle or its driver is asked to contact Deputy Scott Moser at 419-562-7906.
