During the month of August, the Crestline Public Library continues to offer outstanding adult programs as part of their Summer Reading Program “Literary Elements.”
August 4-7 pm: Michael Veltran from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office will present a program on the use of DNA in law enforcement.
August 7-6:30pm: Bill Fisher, Director of the Crawford Park District, will enlighten participants about bioluminescence in nature.
August 11-6pm: Family movie time with a classic sci-fi movie and free popcorn! Call or stop in to discover the title.
August 12, 6:30pm: “There’s an App for That” Bring your tablet, smart phone or laptop to learn about new and useful apps presented by Kevin Langdon. This is a rescheduled program from earlier in the summer.
August 13-6:30pm: Pastor Matthew Laferty and his sister, Sarah Laferty, will present their recent trip to the Soci Winter Olympics. Both are Crestline grads and Matt is pastor of the Moscow, Russia Protestant Chaplaincy.
The Summer Reading Program comes to an end August 16 and the grand prize winner will be drawn from all who participated by reading books or attending programs.
