Just when you thought we were getting a break from the cold and the snow, winter reared its head again Sunday evening and this morning.
The National Weather Service has declared a winter weather advisory for North Central Ohio including Crawford County. That advisory went into effect at 6 o’clock Sunday evening and will remain until noon today. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has declared a Level 1 Snow Emergency for the county as of 2:31 this morning.
Up to four inches of wet snow is expected and ice could be included in the mix. Roadways are hazardous where covered with heavy snow and slush and could become icy. Winds will range from five to 10 miles per hour.
Today’s high is expected to reach 32 but the winds will pick up and temperatures will drop to around 4 degrees this evening.
