1:36 a.m.-A commercial burglar alarm was tripped in the 800 block of Edward Street. Officers investigated the incident and found minor tampering to a door.

2:42 a.m.-A possible breaking and entering of a residence in the 900 block of Highland Avenue was investigated.

4:56 a.m.-A report of a man dressed in black walking in the 100 block of Mansfield Street was investigated. Officers gave the man a ride to his destination.

6:42 a.m.-A report of a man in a vehicle that may have taken large amounts of medication was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way East. The man was taken to Galion Community Hospital and it was determined he had not taken medication. Officers transported him to the home of a relative.

9:40 a.m.-A report of a man chasing a dog in the South Street area was investigated.

10:24 a.m.-A report of a tree down on East Church Street that was blocking the roadway was investigated. The tree had already been moved from the street and the city’s street department was notified.

12:21 p.m.-Officers assisted Children Services personnel in the investigation of a sex offense.

2:57 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Charles Street area.

3:30 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a juvenile in the South Columbus Street area.

3:32 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the Clymer Avenue area was investigated.

4:36 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on Portland Way North and David Witt was issued a citation for failure to control.

5:40 p.m.-The license plates of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Harding Way East were confiscated by officers.

6:59 p.m.-A parent reported their juvenile is in possession of drugs in the 200 block of North Market Street.

7:53 p.m.-A report of people with dogs on the tennis courts at Heise Park was investigated. The people were advised that animals are not allowed on the courts.

8:29 p.m.-A Fairview Avenue reported that someone broke into their house and stole their medication.

10:53 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 700 block of Portland Way South was investigated.

11:24 p.m.-A report of vandalism to the men’s restroom at South Park was investigated.

1:27 a.m.-A Hensley Avenue resident reported someone knocking on the side of their house. No one was located in the rea.

5:34 a.m.-A disturbance at the Rainbow Motel was investigated.

7:31 a.m.-A resident reported hearing gunshots in the 100 block of North Market Street.

12:15 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS with a possible overdose in the 400 block of Libby Lane. Drugs and drug paraphernalia, along with a loaded gun, were confiscated by police.

8:21 p.m.-A Harding Way East resident reported receiving a threat.

8:53 p.m.-A Homer Street resident reported an unwanted man at their residence. The man was warned for trespassing.

9:14 p.m.-Anthony A. Spires, 31, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant in the 900 block of Charles Street. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

10:13 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a person in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue and everything was fine.

8:34 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 900 block of East Walnut Street, Owen W. Jourdan, 18, was arrested for domestic violence.

3:23 p.m.-Travis Miller was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the Harding Way East area.

5:25 p.m.-Kaytione L. Walter was issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 600 block of Harding Way East.

7:56 p.m.-A South Pierce Street resident reported being bitten by a neighbor’s dog. A report was filed with the Crawford County Dog Warden.

11:46 p.m.-A Grand Street resident reported an unwanted man at his house. Officer found drug paraphernalia while warning the man of trespassing.

8:55 a.m.-A report of a 14-year-old boy was reportedly stealing items from Circle K and was arrested in the 500 block of West Church Street. He was released to his mother pending an appearance in Crawford County Juvenile Court.

10:22 a.m.-A report of a reckless driver in the Portland Way South area was investigated.

12:10 p.m.-An Eighth Avenue resident reported $700 stolen by a relative. Marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were found by officers in the bedroom of the suspect.

5:22 p.m.-A South Market resident reported fraudulent charges on their AEP bill.

6:39 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the 600 block of North Market Street was investigated.

9:16 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man looking into vehicles in the Orange Street area was investigated. The man was searched and no evidence was found.

9:31 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the 200 block of North Columbus Street was investigated.

11:08 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Gill Avenue.
