BUCYRUS — Two finalists have been named for the superintendent position with Bucyrus City Schools.
Both men currently serve in the same capacity at schools approximately 40 miles away from Bucyrus.
The two finalists are:
Matthew Chrispin – Superintendent at Fredericktown Local School District
George Fisk – Superintendent at Norwalk City School District
Final interviews for the position are scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 and the anticipated hiring date for the new superintendent is at the April 25 Bucyrus Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m., according to Bucyrus City Schools Treasurer Ryan Cook.
The superintendent position was opened when current superintendent Kevin Kimmel accepted a position as the superintendent of the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center beginning with the 2019-20 school year.
