The Crestline High School teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with one of her students has resigned her teaching position.

brittany hallBrittany Hall of Bucyrus submitted her letter of resignation to Superintendent Noreen Mullins and it is expected to be accepted at Thursday’s district Board of Education meeting. Hall’s resignation is effective March 7.

Hall has been on paid administrative leave since May 3 of last year and is charged with felony 3 sexual battery and felony 4 unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. If convicted, Hall could lose her license to teach in Ohio in addition to prison sentences totaling 78 months. Hall also worked as a girls basketball coach and baseball volunteer.
