BUCYRUS — Haley Brown, 23, of Galion appeared with attorney Tani Eyer in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.

Brown is charged with a second-degree burglary charge for aggravated burglary degree. She also is charged with a misdemeanor assault charge related to the burglary.

Brown is accused of attempting to commit a theft crime while the resident was home on May 20 in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St., Bucyrus.

Judge Sean Leuthold originally appointed Eyer to represent Brown. Since her original appointment, Eyer has joined in the law practice of Joel Spitzer. Spitzer is appointed counsel for other parties in the case.

For that reason, Eyer cited a possible conflict of interest and asked to be removed from the case.

Leuthold approved the request, noting that it was important to protect Brown’s constitutional rights.

Leuthold appointed attorney Sebastian Berger to replace Eyer.
