7:48 a.m.- A Prospect Street resident reported his Christmas lights stolen. Officers made contact with the accused and the lights were returned.
2:16 p.m.- Officers checked on a confused elderly female, and got in touch with a relative who could care for her.
3:11 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of an assault in the Hill and Sears Street area.
3:36 p.m.- Officers investigated an injury accident at South Sandusky and Oakwood Avenues. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and one citation was issued. No one was seriously injured.
4:53 p.m.- A 15-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested on a probation violation and assault. He was taken to Juvenile Detention in Marion pending a court appearance.
5:02 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a shoplifting at Walmart by an 11-year-old. The child was spoken to and turned over to her father.
5:12 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 100 block of South East Street where there was a garage fire.
5:40 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.
6:14 p.m.- A report of vehicles blocking the street in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue was a person loading up items while moving out of a house.
7:15 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle at Duke & Duchess was investigated. The vehicle was gone from the area when officers arrived.
9:22 p.m.- A traffic stop was made and a citation issued in the area of West Southern Avenue and South Spring Street for a red-light violation and drug paraphernalia.
10:57 p.m.- A State Trooper on a traffic stop requested the assistance of the police department’s K-9 unit.
11:05 p.m.- A loud music complaint was investigated in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.
11:06 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report being assaulted at the bars this evening.

1:46 a.m.- A report of a suspicious person around Family Video was a person getting out of the cold.
3:02 a.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of West Warren Street was a verbal dispute.
