Staff report

A number of people didn’t get to enjoy a very happy holiday weekend.

Bucyrus police arrested twenty-four-year-old Jordan Laughbaum of Galion in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. on Crawford County warrants Wednesday evening. Officers had been checking on a car parked in the Circle K parking lot with a man that may have been passed out. The man was identified as Laughbaum. He was given a court date to appear and was released.

Also arrested in Bucyrus were fifty-four-year-old Terry Beckham for trespassing at Kroger on Friday and William M. McDaniel for speeding and OVI on Saturday.

A report of a domestic dispute on Sunday morning led officers to arrest forty-seven-year-old Gregory A. Collins of Marion for domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

Loitering and knocking on doors on a Sunday afternoon may not be the best idea. Thirty-three-year-old Craig O. Myers told Bucyrus police he was looking for a friend in the 800 block of N. Sandusky Ave. and waiting for them to return. Officers ended up arresting Myers on two warrants out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

Galion police arrested Beacher Blevins early Sunday morning for domestic violence. He is being held for court.
