Kyle L. Love, 24, of Marion is facing aggravated burglary charges in Crawford County Common Pleas Court following a chase between Love and officers from the Bucyrus Police Department.

Police pursued Love on Sept. 21 as he ran from the area of Crawford County Job and Family Services into the former Water Treatment Plant at 407 Water St., while an employee was inside. Love removed his pants as he was fleeing police.

In addition to the first-degree felony of aggravated burglary, Love is also facing assault on a peace officer, a felony of the fourth degree. It is alleged that Love threw a cinder block at Detective John Seif causing him physical harm. Not surprisingly, Love is also charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

Bond was set at $350,000.00 and attorney Brad Starkey was appointed to represent Love.
