Marietta J. Dominguez, 86, of Galion passed away Monday evening, September 25, 2017 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion.
She was born May 6, 1931 in Youngstown and was the daughter of Michael and Anna (Pugliese) Pollo. Marietta married Don Hiatt on July 2, 1950 and he preceded her in death in July of 1972. She later married Joe Dominguez on April 30, 1981 and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2015.
Marietta was a homemaker and enjoyed politics. She was a member of the League of Women’s Voters, loved to read and discussing politics.
Marietta is survived by sons Dan (Twila) Hiatt and Ross (Linda) Hiatt all of Galion; four grandchildren Don (Julie) Hiatt of Galion, Jon (Liz Hayes) Hiatt of Chicago, Illinois, Shawn (Tina Del Giudice) Hall of North Carolina and Sherri Sheriff of Galion; six great-grandchildren Kaylee, Tyler, Dylan, Andrew, Anjelica and Allison; three great great-grandchildren James, Grace and Aiden; a brother and a sister.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she is preceded in death by a brother and 5 sisters.
At her request, no services will be held.
