Tim always put his family first and helping others. Whether fixing cars for family and friends, Tim was always willing to go the extra mile. Tim W. Crager, 44, of Galion passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 8, 1972 in Galion, he was the son of the late William C. Crager and Linda D. (Palmer) Crager of Galion. He married Krista (Jenkins) Crager on April 14, 2001 and she survives.
He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1991 and worked in customer service at the Marion Industrial Center for 15 years. Tim enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR where Tony Stewart was his favorite driver. He liked to work on cars and favored John Deere tractors and older farm equipment.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by children Abigail and Kylee Crager; sister Tammy (Tim) Eicher of Galion; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary and Donna Jenkins of Galion and sisters-in-law Melissa Barker, Sherry Scott and Jennifer Jenkins, all of Galion.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Galion with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in care of the funeral home.
