Change is often inevitable and when change is the result of growth, that’s a good thing. That’s why the Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting Friday morning for P&F Sanitation was truly a celebration.

“We were working out of the basement of a house and moved up here (126 Harding Way East),” said owner Brian Parsley. “It’s working much better.”

The 18-month-old business has been headquartered in Uptowne Galion for about two months. P&F currently covers the City of Galion, as well as significant portions of Crawford and Morrow counties. In addition, the fledging business has been making additional inroads into Mansfield and Richland County of late.

Parsley has three employees at this time and noted that in addition to weekly trash pick-up routes, they also do one-time “clean-ups” for clients needing that service.

“We try to put the human touch to it,” Parsley said when asked what is unique about the operation.

Noting that P&F stands for Parsley and Family, he continued. “We put trash can lids back on, move cans out of the weather. We try to take care of everything they’ve got, treat it like or own.”

He admitted that sanitation services can have a reputation for not answering phone calls in a timely fashion, but promised, “We try to answer our phones quickly.”

The telephone number for P&F is 419-617-2221.
