The Crawford County Young Riders 4H Club held its first meeting of the year on Sunday January 15, 2017. At this first meeting new members were welcomed into the club and the club officers were elected.

There are many different offices for members to be elected to including president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and more. In order to be elected members must be nominated by fellow members or advisors. Then the club votes on the nominee they would prefer in that office.

This year’s officers are as follows;

President – Emma Studer

Vice President – Drew Krassow

Secretary – Kennedie Dier

Treasurer – Chloe Carman

After officers were elected the club continued the meeting with the discussion of upcoming events including their annual Crawford County Tack Swap and Auction. This event will take place on January 28th, 2017 from 9 to 1 in the youth building at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.

Once a few things were addressed including the projects in which the members will be signing up for in the next few weeks. These projects will help guide the members in how to do something or learn about something that they are interested in with the help of their parents and club advisors. The meeting was then adjourned for the day.
