Lady Eagles season comes to an end

The Col. Crawford Lady Eagles season came to an end yesterday as Edison scored an unearned run in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Lady Eagles 1-0 at the Division 3 District championship game at Lexington.

The Colonel Crawford Lady Eagles season came to an end yesterday as Edison scored an unearned run in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Lady Eagles 1-0 at the Division 3 District championship game at Lexington.

Colonel Crawford finishes the season with a 23-3 record. Edison advances to regional play starting next Thursday with a record of 22-3.

Saturday two county baseball teams will play for district championships. Wynford takes on New London in a division 4 game at Shelby while Galion plays for a division 3 district championship at Madison against Clear Fork. Both games start at 1 o’clock.
