The couple who own a home on King Road where the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrant pursuant to a heroin investigation now face felony charges.

Rose and Leslie Douglas made initial appearances in Crawford County Municipal Court on Wednesday afternoon on those felony charges. Rose Douglas is charged with fifth-degree permitting drug abuse and Leslie Douglas is charged with third-degree possession of heroin.

The fifth-degree charge has a maximum prison sentence of 12 months while Leslie Douglas could be sentenced to as long as 36 months if convicted of the third-degree felony charge.

Assistant County Prosecutor Rob Kidd told the court that investigators believed Leslie Douglas was “behind the operation.”

Judge Shane Leuthold set bond for Rose Douglas at $150,000 cash and appointed Brad Starkey to represent her. Bond for Leslie Douglas was set at $250,000 cash and Brian Gernert was appointed as his attorney.

The couple was arrested in Mansfield as a result of a warrant issued in Crawford County. Jamie Hall and Stephanie Lockhart were arrest at the house located at 3889 King Rd. at the time the warrant was executed. Hall was living at that address.

Authorities seized suspected heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, syringes, drug paraphernalia, cash and other drug related items.

Also making felony initial appearances in Municipal Court on Wednesday were John Bisceglia for fifth-degree domestic violence, Keleb Hicks for fifth-degree breaking and entering, and Steven Young for fifth-degree drug possession and misdemeanor possession of a non-scheduled substance only available by prescription.

Bisceglia’s bond was set at $50,000 and Andrew Motter was appointed as his attorney. Hicks bond was set at $75,000 and Sebastian Berger was appointed as his attorney. Young’s bond was set at $25,000 and Grant Garverick was appointed to represent him.
