The Colonel Crawford Eagles flew away with a victory Saturday night as they defeated the Bucyrus Redmen 51-27.

The Eagles’ defense clamped down on the Redmen early on, allowing just five points in the first quarter and four points in the second quarter to go into the half with a 27-9 lead. The swooping defense continued in the second half as the Eagles allowed 10 points in the third and eight points in the fourth.

Colonel Crawford was led by Owen Adams with 16 points and Brody Martin contributed 10.

Bucyrus’ Gavin Lewis led the team with 11 points.

With the victory Colonel Crawford improved to 12-5 on the season with a 9-3 N10 record.

Bucyrus falls to 1-15 on the season with a 1-10 N10 record.
