BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Bucyrus City Schools has announced auditions for their upcoming Summer Community Musical, ‘Disney’s Frozen the Broadway Musical’. Auditions are open to the community, ages 8 to adult, and will take place in the Bucyrus High School Theater from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 23. Bucyrus High School Theater is located at 900 W Perry Street.
Those auditioning will read from the script, learn a short dance routine, and are asked to prepare 60 seconds of a song to sing from a different show. A speaker will be available for backing tracks if needed.
The BCS Summer Community Musical was started in 2023 and has become an annual community event bringing students, staff, alumni, and community members together. The production will be directed by Betsy Gerhart and choreographed by Matt Feck.
