MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (ESC) will host a regional hiring event on Tuesday, March 3, to fill critical vacancies in school districts across North Central Ohio.
The event is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Mid-Ohio ESC Conference Center, located at 890 Fourth St. in Mansfield. It aims to connect licensed educators, recent graduates, and support staff with career opportunities in the 13 school districts served by the ESC in Crawford, Morrow, and Richland counties.
Available roles include K-12 teaching positions, instructional support, and specialized related services such as speech and language pathologists, school psychologists, and occupational therapy assistants. The event also seeks to fill essential support roles, including school bus drivers, custodial staff, and maintenance workers.
“This event is designed to attract both new and experienced educators and support staff to our region, where the need is significant,” said Jennifer Reed, Director of Human Resources at Mid-Ohio ESC. “Our goal is to provide a centralized opportunity to connect qualified candidates who are passionate about education with meaningful opportunities available in our local communities.”
Applicants for educator or related services positions are expected to hold, or be actively pursuing, a valid education license by Aug. 1. Candidates are encouraged to bring a cover letter, résumé, and professional references, as on-site interviews will be conducted.
Interested applicants can register online at moesc.net. Those unable to attend may still submit their materials through the website for review by participating districts.
The Mid-Ohio ESC provides academic and support services to over 20,000 students across the tri-county region, assisting districts with everything from curriculum development to specialized student therapy.
