MT. GILEAD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Around 6 p.m. this evening, crews responded to a vehicle accident in the area of Road 20 and Road 14, in Franklin Township.
The accident involved two vehicles, resulting in a mass casualty incident. One patient was mechanically extricated from their vehicle.
Due to the complexity of the incident, mutual aid was received from Johnsville Fire Department, Cardington Fire Department, and Big Walnut Fire District.
Additional aid was received for patient care and transport by Morrow County EMS, Fredericktown EMS, and Troy Township Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
