NORTH ROBINSON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) —Colonel Crawford’s library was filled with family, former board members, and former administrators as the district honored Margie Hoyles during her final board meeting after 12 years of service.

Superintendent Mike Voll thanked Hoyles for her dedication to the district, while others in attendance shared heartwarming stories reflecting on her 40 years of involvement.

During the business portion, the board approved Oct. 3 as the date for the band’s “Thunder in the Thicket” exhibition. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature bands from several schools across the region.

A contract was approved with Gardiner Service Company for an HVAC project, utilizing the current Ohio Schools Council Cooperative Agreement for design-build services. The project will cover the PreK–3 wing and will total $98,941.

The board also approved the district’s payment of 50% of the deductible for Plan C-HSA for both certified and classified employees, with an increase from $1,650 single/$3,300 family to $1,700 single/$3,400 family.

Jan. 5 was set as the organizational meeting date at 7 p.m. Norm Huber, current board president, was approved as acting president for the organizational meeting.
