Galion City Council members will once again have their work cut out for them Tuesday evening when they have 11 pieces of legislation to work on.

Eight of those legislative items are slated for a first reading including appropriating money for the position of service/safety director, setting required bond limits for both the city auditor and treasurer, and approving mayoral appointments for Doug Schilling, Dennis Long, Wendy Kerr, and Terry Gribble to the Galion Board of Health.

Both a tax ordinance and a formal request to the Ohio Attorney General’s office to investigate Prairie State Energy Campus contracts will get a third reading and go into effect if approved.
