The Carey girls’ basketball team stayed unbeaten on the 2015-2016 campaign on Tuesday with a convincing 69-45 win over the Wynford Lady Royals. Carey improved to 3-0 in N-10 play and 4-0 overall while the Lady Royals are now 1-2 and 2-4.
The Lady Blue Devils did all the damage in first half, especially in the first quarter, when they outscored Wynford, 25-10. The Lady Royals played Carey even in the second half.
Jade Stuckman was Wynford’s top scorer with 11 points while Maci Cooper and Gretchen Harris each added nine points.
Carey got 25 points from Sydney Wentling and 19 from Shelby Kin.
Wynford plays at Mohawk on Saturday afternoon.
