BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Suicide Prevention Coalition is inviting the community to its 22nd annual Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday, September 13. The event aims to raise awareness and provide resources for suicide prevention.
Mary Jo Carle, of the Crawford County Quick Response Team, and Paula Brown, from the Crawford-Marion ADAM Board, stated that the walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Avita Hospital in Bucyrus and end at Shines Art Park. A police escort will guide walkers safely along the route.
The event, which started in 2004, will feature resource booths from local agencies, a speaker, and a survivor’s story. While t-shirt registration is closed, everyone is encouraged to participate to show support and find healing.
