BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford Dental Group, including Dr. Glen McMurray, Dr. Autumn Sackett, Dr. M. Clair Erlsten Ekin, and their office staff, are participating in the “Stuff The Bus” campaign throughout August. The initiative honors the memory of Carrie Robertson, a cherished Bucyrus Elementary School teacher who passed away in February after a brief illness.

Carrie was known for her dedication to education, not only teaching at Bucyrus Elementary but also engaging students through after-school and summer school programs. Additionally, she served on the Board of the Bucyrus Backpack Program, impacting many lives within the community. Carrie’s sister, Amber Robertson, a valued staff member at the Crawford Dental Group, is spearheading this initiative in her honor.

Community members can contribute school supplies by visiting the Crawford Dental Group office at 126 Hill St. in Bucyrus during the following hours: Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A donation table has been set up in the office lobby for convenience.

For those who wish to donate but are unable to visit the office, special arrangements can be made by calling 419-562-0203. Staff are available to pick up donations.

All collected items will be presented to the Bucyrus school district at the end of the month. The Crawford Dental Group invites the entire community to join in honoring Carrie by continuing her legacy of making a difference in the education of children in our area.
