GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion History Center is preparing for its biggest annual fundraiser, the 2025 Purse Bingo, scheduled for Saturday, August 16, at St. Joe’s Activity Center, 115 N. Liberty St. Doors open at 11 a.m., with bingo starting at noon.
Celebrating 70 years of community impact, the event promises an afternoon of entertainment, featuring 14 rounds of bingo with a 30-minute intermission. Participants will have the chance to win brand-new designer purses from popular brands such as Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Lululemon. Each purse will be named in honor of a remarkable woman from Galion’s history, adding a unique local touch to the event.
Beyond bingo, the fundraiser will include raffles and 50/50 drawings, offering additional opportunities to win. Attendees can also enjoy charcuterie, snacks, a cash bar, music, laughter, and good company.
Tickets are available for purchase, with full tables (8 tickets) priced at $400 and half tables (4 tickets) at $200. Tickets are on sale now.
