The Crawford Regional Planning Commission will meet next week and perhaps one of the most important items on its agenda will be that of the organization’s director.
The CRPC’s Executive Committee met last Wednesday afternoon and immediately went into executive session on two occassions. After the initial executive session the committee indicated there was no need for the joint CRPC/CCEEDP Committee to meet because “pressing issues” that need to be addressed prior to the next meeting.
The committee again went into executive session to discuss personnel issues and upon reconvening the second time the Executive Committee voted unanimously to place McBeth on layoff effective Aug. 16.
At the upcoming meeting on the 28th the CRPC will discuss unemployment compensation for McBeth and the direction of the organization.
That meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Crawford County Engineer’s Office on Whetstone Street in Bucyrus.
