MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Richland County Fair kicks off its 175th year from Aug. 3-9, according to Fair Board President Christy Keith.

New attractions this year include a Christian concert (Jordan Felice and Riley Clemens) on Tuesday and Wiener Dog Races on Monday following harness racing. Popular staples like the rodeo, truck pulls, and demolition derby will return. The annual pie auction will again raise funds for fairgrounds improvements, which recently included air conditioning in the arts and crafts building and new roofs on main buildings.

Admission is $10, covering all grandstand events except the concert. Concert tickets are available at richlandcountyfairohio.com.

Special days include Veteran’s Day (Thursday) and Senior Kids Day (Tuesday). The 175th opening ceremony is Sunday, Aug. 3, at 3 p.m.

Fair passes can be bought at the fair office until 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1. More details are available at Richland County Fair and their Facebook page.
