BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) announced its portable adult changing table and tent will be available at two major community events this summer, enhancing accessibility for attendees.
The electric, height-adjustable changing table is designed for adults but can also be used by parents and caregivers for infants and older children, providing a private and convenient space for hygiene needs.
The first event will be the Crawford County Fair, running from July 15-19. Fairgoers can find the changing table and a red tent in the New Merchants building, located immediately to the right upon entering from the Midway. It will be available for use daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Supplies such as sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer, and a disposal container will be provided.
“This changing table will be available to anyone attending the fair, making it possible for more people to enjoy the fair for a longer period of time without the worry of no place to accommodate their needs to be changed,” CCBDD stated.
For the second consecutive year, the changing table will also be at the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival, beginning Thursday, Aug. 14. It will be centrally located in the festival’s heart, within a red tent in the Dollar General parking lot at the corner of S. Sandusky and E. Rensselaer Street.
The CCBDD’s portable changing table and tent are available for reservation by other venues throughout Crawford County. Interested parties can contact the CCBDD at 419-562-3321.
