UPPER SANDUSKY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Patriot Truck and Trailer Solutions, formerly McGuire Wholesale, is gearing up for its 5th annual truck show, set for August 2. The event will benefit Open Door, a local charity in Upper Sandusky that provides food and other essential services to the community.

Virgil Jennings, representing Patriot Truck and Trailer Solutions, explained the name change, stating, “As we get more focused into what we’re doing, which is building custom trucks and outfitting and the trailer offerings that we have nowadays, we thought it was important and it was a good time to go ahead and just let the world know what we do.”

The truck show will feature a “show and shine” with various categories, and all entry fees will be donated to Open Door. The Wyandotte County Cattlemen’s Association will provide food at the event. Jennings anticipates around 100 vehicles and 300-400 attendees.

“Every year we try to do a different charity,” Jennings said, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting local organizations.

In addition to the truck show, Jennings highlighted the importance of trailer safety, especially as springtime brings increased travel. He urged trailer owners to perform pre-trip inspections and offered a spring special for trailer check-ups.

“You’ve got to do your safety checks on your trailers,” Jennings said, noting the frequency of debris on roadways due to improper trailer maintenance.

Patriot Truck and Trailer Solutions offers trailer repair and service, including bearing checks and brake adjustments. They also emphasize the importance of ensuring vehicles are properly equipped to tow trailers.

“Make sure your vehicle is ready to pull that too,” Jennings advised, stressing the need for safe loading practices to prevent trailer sway.

The company is located at 215 Commerce Way in Upper Sandusky. Information about the truck show and other services can be found on their website, patriottnt.com, and their Facebook page, Patriot Truck and Trailer Solutions.
