BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford Park District’s Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center is currently hosting a photography exhibit by Ian Adams, an environmental photographer, writer, and educator. The exhibit, which runs from January 25 to February 28, showcases the beauty of Ohio through Adams’ lens. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including Country Gardens, Fine Gardening, and Ohio Magazine. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Snow Insects Presentation and Hike
On Saturday, February 22, at 2 p.m., Crawford Park District Naturalist Donald will present a program on snow insects at Lowe-Volk Park. These unique insects are most active on top of snow during winter. The presentation will be followed by a hike to the Sandusky River to search for these creatures. The event is weather-dependent, and attendees are encouraged to call 419-683-9000 to register.

Viewing the Night Sky Event
Later on February 22, at 7 p.m., the Crawford Park Astronomy Club will host a “Viewing the Night Sky” event at Lowe-Volk Park. Participants will have the opportunity to observe celestial sights such as Saturn, Jupiter, the Orion Nebula, the Crab Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, and the North Star. The event is open to all who are interested in astronomy.
