On December 5, the streets of downtown Bucyrus will come alive with the annual Candlelight Christmas. This event features horse-drawn carriage rides, an ice-skating rink sponsored by FC Bank, and the Santa Parade sponsored by Bucyrus Kiwanis, which starts at 6:00PM. The evening will also include the first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and a Christmas story read by Mrs. Claus at Schines Art Park at 7:00PM. Numerous outside vendors will be present, and local favorites like The Pelican Coffee House and Amish Vault will showcase their specialty drinks and holiday decor. The Bucyrus Public Library will also be open from 5:00PM. to 8:00PM for their Candlelight Grinchmas, where visitors can meet the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.

Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30PM. and Sunday shows begin at 2:30PM.
