Missing Galion man located

Chief Brian Saterfield says the Galion missing missing since Monday evening has been located. The missing gentleman, 68-year-old Fred Saunders Sr., suffers from Alzheimer’s and walked away from his South Union Street home.

Saterfield indicated Saunders was found Thursday evening and is now safe with family members in Marion.

The Galion police chief expressed his appreciation to all who aided in searching for Saunders.
