GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Galion Community Theatre (GCT) is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary on June 1st, marking four decades of promoting an appreciation for the performing arts in the local community. The theatre is inviting the public to join in the celebration, which will be an evening filled with song, dance, reunions, and a look into the future of GCT.
The event will begin with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from 5:30-6:30 PM, followed by a program at 6:30 PM that will include stunning songs, stories of GCT’s journey, and a tribute to those who helped to start it all.
A Night of Gratitude and Celebration
The 40th-anniversary celebration will be an opportunity for GCT to express its gratitude to the community that has supported it over the years. “Without the support of our community, we would not be where we are today,” said a representative from GCT. “We want to thank our community by extending an invitation to this event.”
The evening will be a celebration of GCT’s rich history, its present achievements, and its future plans. Attendees can expect a nostalgic journey through past productions, with performances by familiar faces and songs from beloved shows.
