MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Richland Academy of the Arts (RAA) is thrilled to announce the opening of online registration for their summer programs, inviting everyone to “Explore the Artist Within.” The academy offers a diverse range of classes, workshops, and camps in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, martial arts, and film.
The summer programs, which run from June 3rd to August 16th, are designed to cater to all ages and skill levels. Class registration is ongoing, with multi-class discounts available throughout the summer months. Early bird registrants stand a chance to win a $50 RAA gift card.

New and Returning Summer Offerings
RAA’s summer schedule is packed with over 30 dance classes and camps, 29 art classes and workshops, 5 music classes, 6 martial arts classes, and 7 theatre and film classes. Some of the new offerings include Bluey Ballet & Dance Camp and Swifties Dance Camp with Miss Sarah and Miss Erin, Skateboard Design, Pizza Box Challenge, and Dragon Eye Drawing with Miss Autumn, Violin 101 with Miss Sonia, and Rhythms and Rhymes with Miss Megan.
One of the highlights of the summer program is the Summer Film Camp with Leapyear Studios, supported by the Summertime Kids Grant from the Richland County Foundation and the Carl and Annamarie Fernyak Fund of the Richland County Foundation.
Music Offerings
RAA continues to expand its music program with 17 private music instructors offering instruction in piano, voice, guitar, strings, bagpipes, and more. The academy welcomes new private music instructors Derek Roland, teaching guitar and bass; Dr. Cynthia Mahaney teaching voice, violin, and viola; and Thomas Secrist teaching violin. RAA’s private lessons offer a personalized and dynamic learning experience for students.
