Donald D. Fisher, age 88, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.

Don was born on August 2, 1935, in Barnesville, Ohio, to Robert and Inez (Hollingsworth) Fisher.  He married Ruth Ann Stover on October 4, 1962, in Barnesville, and she survives in Nevada.

He is survived by a daughter, Judith (Chris) Bradle of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, and a son, Gary (Lynn) Fisher of Ada, Michigan, along with a sister, JoAnn Brock of Zanesville, Ohio.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother John Fisher.

He was a graduate of Barnesville High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army, having served from 1958 to 1960.

Don retired from Fisher Auto Parts in Bucyrus, after 52 years. He served on council for 9 years for the Village of Nevada. For hobbies Don enjoyed going to car shows.

Graveside services for Don Fisher will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, February 2, 2024, at Nevada Cemetery with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating.  Military graveside rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard.

Visitations will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 2, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
