GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— If you’re looking for a spooky way to spend an October night, you might want to join the Eerie Galion Walks, a guided tour of the city’s most haunted and historic sites.

The walks, presented by Preserving Galion, Inc., will take place on Saturday, October 21 and Friday, October 27, starting at 8 p.m. at The Gazebo in Park Square. The walks will last for about an hour and will end at the Gill House, a Victorian mansion that has been the subject of paranormal investigations.

Participants will hear stories of murder, mayhem, tragedy and heroism that occurred in Galion. Such as a lynching, the fate of the city’s Revolutionary War Veteran, and acts of cruelty and heroism.

The walks will also feature some of the strange and unusual events that have been reported in Galion over the years, such as mysterious noises, ghostly sightings, unexplained disappearances and bizarre behavior.

The walks are suitable for adults and children over 8 years old, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have a ticket.

Tickets for Eerie Galion Walks are $10 and can be obtained online. More information is available on the Gill House Facebook Page. Refreshments will be served at the Gill House after each walk.
