Jazmynn Rebekah Kay “Jazzy” Paul, 12, of Galion passed away and is now flying with the Angels September 7, 2023 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
Born April 2, 2011 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Leeann Nicole (Thomas Conkle) Winslow Thompson of Galion.
Jazzy attended Galion Middle School where she was in seventh grade and a member of the Litehouse Team. She was a member of Girl Scouts Troop 1727 in Galion and the PB&J Baseball League. Jazzy was a 4H participant and showed her cat Mittens. She enjoyed camping, dancing, dressing up and especially loved animals.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her grandparents and guardians who raised her, Elwin J. and Teresa “Tess” (Goff) Winslow of Galion; brothers Jayathan and Logan Paul of Galion; great-grandmother Connie Winslow of Galion; uncles, Cody Winslow of Galion and Brandon (Sabrina Machak) Winslow of Carpetsville, Illinois; great aunt Enid Ramsey of Galion; cousins, Braedyn Machak and Anna Winslow of Ill.; many, many friends and her dog Daisey Mae and cat Mittens.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents Kenneth and Junetta (Spires) Goff and great-grandfather Harold Winslow.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15 at Wesley Chapel, 240 South Market Street, Galion, Ohio 44833with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Bryn Zion Cemetery in Mt. Gilead.
