COLUMBUS—The Ohio State Fair opens in just two days and one admission ticket will unlock a multitude of exciting experiences for a fairgoer.
Through tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25, advance-sale admission is available on Ticketmaster, fee free, for just $8 per ticket. Tickets purchased in advance can be used any day of the Ohio State Fair, July 26 through Aug. 6. Similarly, advance-sale ride-all-day wristbands are available online through July 25 only as well.
Fairgoers won’t need to pull out their wallets until they arrive at the admission gates, unless they purchased tickets in advance, as parking is free in the main O’Reilly Auto Parts Parking Lots. Free shuttles are also available to transport patrons from their vehicles to the main gates. Accessible parking, and accessible parking shuttles, are also available.
Once visitors are through the gates, the vast majority of activities are free and included in the price of admission. Enjoy all the events below, and more, at the Ohio State Fair:
- The brand new Touch-a-Truck exhibit on the Lausche Youth Exploration Space Lawn.
- Visit booths and many hands on activities with COSI, Intel®, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, Department of Education, Department of Higher Education, and others in the space-themed Lausche Youth Exploration Space presented by Intel®.
- Hop on the complimentary on-grounds shuttles to see the Fair from a new perspective.
- See expansive youth and creative arts exhibits, sporting events, and more in Kasich Hall.
- Keep an eye out for several strolling entertainers sure to dazzle fairgoers along their path through the grounds.
- Visit Main Street Stage, AARP Ohio Gazebo Stage, the Natural Resources Park Amphitheather, the Dog House, Entertainment Alley, and Kiddieland for endless daily entertainment from live music by local artists to an escape artist, shimmering reflectors, Marvelous Mutts, lumberjack shows, and so much more.
- The 8-acre Natural Resources Park offering youth fishing, kayaking, a butterfly house, accessible play area, geological pathway, prairie, and more.
- One of the largest fine arts exhibitions in the state located in the Cox Fine Arts Center.
- Many brand new photo opportunities and selfie spots sprinkled throughout the grounds.
