MANSFIELD—Richland Academy of the Arts (RAA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Dance Another Day, Dance Floor Replacement Project, culminating in a vibrant Dance Floor Send Off Party. For over two decades, the current dance floors on the second floor have been a source of joy, dance education, and cherished memories for RAA dancers. To commemorate this milestone, the academy invites the community to join them on Sunday, May 21st, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, for a lively celebration and tribute to the beloved dance floors. The event promises raffle baskets, refreshments, and an opportunity to dress in past dance costumes and revel in the festivities.
RAA extends its gratitude and appreciation to the Robert and Esther Black Family Fund of the Richland County Foundation and the PNC Asset Management Fund for their support in funding phase one of the Dance Another Day project. This ambitious undertaking comprises two phases, and RAA is elated to embark on the first phase. Those interested in learning more about the project or contributing to the completion of phase one’s expenses are encouraged to call 419-522-8224 or visit the official RAA website at richlandacademy.com, where they can find the “GIVE” option under the main menu.
