SHELBY – A recent financial audit of Pioneer Career & Technology Center by the auditor of State’s Office for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014, has returned a clean audit report of Pioneer for the second consecutive year.  Pioneer’s excellent record keeping has once again earned it the Auditor of State Award.

According to Pioneer Treasurer, Linda Schumacher, “Pioneer once again proves itself mindful of the need for excellence in financial management.  This award is just one way we can show our stakeholder’s that we are thankful for and mindful of all of the support they give us here at Pioneer.  Without the excellent fiscal and administrative staff at Pioneer and the community support we receive, our jobs would be much more difficult.  In fact, the entire staff at Pioneer is extremely aware and supportive of the importance of sound financial reporting.”
